Isfahan Science and Technology Town (ISTT) and China Science and Technology Exchange Center (CSTEC) signed a memorandum of understanding to promote cooperation and technical exchange between China and Iran. Under this MOU, ISTT and CSTEC agreed to establish cooperation between the knowledge-based companies in Iran and China in technology exchange and transfer of know-how. ISTT and CSTECH agreed to introduce the technological achievements of k-based companies, organize joint seminars, training courses, technology exhibitions, and arrange business matching meetings between the Iranian and Chinese companies. Performing joint research projects and finding counterparts in each of the two countries are among other items agreed in this MOU. Following efforts by IRIS and ISTT’s International and Scientific Cooperation Department and CSTEC’s International Cooperation Department, the MOU was signed by Dr. Mehdi Keshmiri, ISTT President, and Dr. Sun Hong, Director General of CSTEC for a period of three years. CSTEC is a legally independent organization affiliated to Ministry of Science and Technology of China to promote non-governmental technical cooperation and exchange between China and other countries in the world. ISTT is the leading and pioneering science town in Iran affiliated to the Ministry of Science, Research & Technology, that enables the establishment and development of K-based SMEs. It also helps establish a link between university and industry and provides opportunities for investors and owners of technologies. |
